The author boasts an impressive background that includes growing up in Nigeria amidst civil war, political upheaval, apartheid in South Africa, and an era of coup d'etat, which were common in Africa. Staring from humble beginnings attending Mayflower School, Ikenne, Enitonna High School, Port Harcourt, Nigeria and earning degrees from prestigious institutions such as the University of Port Harcourt in Hydrobiology & Fisheries Biology. The author also acquired a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana University, and Bachelor of Science from Fergusson College in Pune, India as well as several professional certifications from around the world, the author has a wide range of knowledge and expertise.

The author began their career as a high school science teacher, before moving on to undertake oil pollution research studies in the Niger Delta, Nigeria. Since then, the author has worked with major organisations, including the Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Reliance Industries Ltd., and the World Bank, among others. Notably, the author has served as a Petroleum Regulator with the Government of Timor Leste and worked on environmental due diligence of petroleum assets for the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Government of Madagascar.

Today, the author is a Start-up Mentor, Environmental & Safety Professional, Ecological & Biological Capital Evangelist, Sustainability Consultant, Biodiversity and Climate Change Expert, Nature-Based Solutions Practitioner, and ESG strategist. The author has extensive travel experience facilitating and delivering projects in Africa, South America, the Middle East, Asia, the Pacific, Europe, and the USA.
